I'd love to see where you read that. Last I checked, he was swimming close to 50 miles a week. He has added more on-land exercises to his workout routine, but generally just does that 3 days a week and he prefers bodyweight exercises like pushups and pullups to weights because he doesn't want to add bulk. I would assume so, yes, but generally you wouldn't keep every other factor constant. You'd be running faster than you normally could. Or you'd be running when you normally couldn't, in the case of a physical ailment. Read more
