No. While I don't have the statistics to back this up, roughly 50% of my friends have Android phones. Roughly 1 or 2% have uploaded their libraries (or even parts of them) to Google Play Music. Most of them don't even know that they can. True story. Read more

Nope. The Kindle Reader app for Android is very good, and the Amazon MP3 app, while not especially pretty, works just fine. The only thing someone might miss is if they watch tons of video via Amazon Prime, but given Prime's movie selection, that's not likely to be tons of people. Read more

I tend to flip back and forth between Spotify and Rdio, but I still use Pandora a fair amount. Pandora isn't talked about as much these days, but I think it's got its own thing going on that will help it survive, namely it's great for music discovery and for surprising you. Read more

Just tried this out on our Nexus 7, and it works. The cool thing is that it doesn't seem to have to actually be a full blink. It can tell when my eyes move from the screen to the camera, or vice versa, and it'll unlock. But if I just stare frozenly, then it will say, "Didn't catch your blink." Very nice. Read more
