I would add the Upper Thirds rule, especially when shooting people. It's a super simple adjustment and it makes a huge difference. Generally you want your subject's eyes to be in upper third of the frame. Most people try to put the person's face in the dead center, which leaves a ton of empty space over the head. Read more
