Ha, no, I meant to address that. The shake-to-shuffle only works when you have the screen on. Otherwise you'd skip tracks every time you went down some stairs. They're really not bad. We had to pick a tragic flaw, and that was it. Personally I only started feeling them after the 30 minute mark and even after an hour they weren't awful. The 685s are definitely more comfortable than the 680s. Read more
