People are definitely eager to jump all over Monsanto — and for good reason. Their reputation certainly precedes them in this case — something that likely led to the quick media response, if not the French government's response as well. Though Europeans tend to be more GM-averse than us North Americans. Read more

For sure — and another complaint of the study was its utter inability to explain causation. I would be very interested to hear the underlying biological mechanisms required to cause the rates of cancer they're describing. I'm not saying it's impossible — but it needs to be explained. Read more
