Indeed, that's something we're struggling with too. Breadth vs depth - we don't want everyone to pile in to a single discussion, nor do we want comments to be complete one offs. Also, time vs importance. If a post already has 500 comments, a single new comment will be more likely to get lost amongst the noise. It's a Read more
