I see it more as a "What if" moment. I like these stories about things that could have been, stories that could have been told differently. Read more

The flashes of darkness are interesting. The deeper we get into the series, the more important I think its ending will be to tying the canon together. But, as it is, it's enjoyable all on its own. Read more
Oh wow. I was convinced this is one I missed until I hit play. I completely remember this. It's burned on a part of brain I wasn't even conscious of. Read more
It would. I wonder if it would be strange for little kids to see an alphabet divorced from its phonics. Then again, I always loved my illustrated dictionary with earlier versions of each letter at the beginning of each section. Read more
I think to be a domino artist you need that perfect combination of the diligence needed to set up and the serenity needed to let go of the few that didn't fall. Both ends of the process would drive me absolutely mad. Read more
I totally still dress up for Halloween. I have a Yip-Yip outfit which is all kinds of impractical; I can barely see out of it at night. Maybe I should rethink my strategy and go the sweatshirt route. Read more
Oh, I'm by no means defending the characterization of Anakin in the prequels. His character in both Clone Wars series is far more interesting. I'm just saying that the reasons behind his fall can still make sense in the context of this more mature Anakin, provided he experiences enough heartbreak before the events of… Read more
There are some fan theories about what could happen in Clone Wars that would cause Anakin to go mad at the thought of losing Padme. But I doubt anything is going to save just how far Anakin fell and how quickly. That likely would have played out better if it could have happened more slowly in a television series. Read more
My issue with it being a mental illness isn't so much offense as irresponsibility. There are other aspects of the story I find interesting, namely his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, but I agree, if that's the moral, it's not a very interesting or true one. Read more
I just don't find his interactions with Savage very interesting. This episode zoomed in on their dynamic. Read more
You're right, Dooku is too important politically. If Palpatine is going to hunt down the brothers himself, it should make for a very interesting confrontation. I wonder if they can begin to hold a candle to him in battle. Read more
Based on the ending, I got the impression that he wasn't actually schizophrenic. Or maybe I just think that because it would be too troubling otherwise. Read more

Does this mean he's going to be pitting the apprentices against one another? There are quite a few of them running around these days, and I imagine Palpatine wants the strongest. Read more
True, but Faust has plenty of experience on half-hour shows. Just because the episodes would extend beyond these tiny gags doesn't mean they wouldn't be great. Read more
It's good, not great. The battle sequences are fun, and I love Hondo, but given that we just ended last season with a Maul and Savage battle, I was tepid on this. They're just not fun enough characters to spend time with, especially without Asajj. I'm glad we'll be getting Anakin and Ahsoka next episode. Read more
I somehow conflated John Hamm and Don Draper. Sterling does have the crazier schemes, but I think the Joker works as Draper since he's the more creative type. Read more
That was on the destruction list. I created a sort of arbitrary line between the two because the list of destructions and defacements was getting ridiculously long. Read more
