NEX cameras have quite a bit larger of a sensor, so are going to perform better in low light, and perform a bit better all-around in image quality. The auto-focus system on the G5 might be faster, but stay tuned for the upcoming NEX-6, because it has a revamped auto-focus system that is supposed to be great. Read more

We did not directly compare the two, but it is safe to say that you are going to get all-around better results with the EM-5. The quality that comes out of that sensor is truly amazing. Read more

I agree. It is good to use filters selectively, if they actually enhance the image. Don't use them just by default. Read more
