FTS did respond - it just didn’t impact structural integrity that much since starship has autogenous pressurization. The tanks just bled slowly until the internal pressure was low enough for it to break apart.

Fun thing about the Apollo Landings is they learnt the hard way that Dust got EVERYWHERE. It’s sticky, abrasive and incredibly dangerous into scientific instruments and the human body because it’s basically like breathing in microscopic glass. Going to the Moon is hard.
