Not really. The CB500x is actually a little peppier and more fun to ride, with equal comfort and distance ability. If you regularly carry a passenger or luggage though, or just really want that DCT, then the 700 might work better. Read more

If you've ridden a 600 and you don't think it gives you the ability to deal with other road users, then you need to return to the rider education drawing board and try something smaller and lighter. The vision alone gives a motorcyclist vastly superior information with which to employ his superior brakes and handling. Read more

Again, the math is just incredibly misleading. You see an overall crash or death rate for "motorcyclists." Remove the drunk ones (half of all crashes), the unskilled ones, the ones without safety gear, etc etc etc and it's just not that dangerous a thing to do. Read more

You lost friends because they were idiots, didn't wear the safety gear and didn't take the time to learn to ride properly. They also probably bought bikes that were exponentially too fast for their skill levels. It had nothing to do with any inherent danger bikes as a whole represent. Read more
