This week in the world of cartoons, Adventure Time gets a visit from an old school comedian, the Younglings continue their journey on Clone Wars, and it's Guys Night on Regular Show!
As always - minor spoilers ahead!
Star Wars: The Clone Wars – "A Necessary Bond"
General Grievous sets his eyes on Hondo and his band of Weequay pirates, making Ahsoka and Hondo uneasy allies in the finale of this four part storyline.
The Younglings are not safe either, with the first clip showing part (including our favorite Wookie Jedi) of the group dangling from a starcraft while Ahsoka defends them from an incoming attack.
Grievous interrupts a Weequay party, with Hondo sporting a kowakian monkey-lizard (like Salacious B. Crumb!) and receiving a hologram message from Count Dooku.
Adventure Time – "Five More Short Graybles"
This episode gives of five different shorts featuring MBO, Marceline, the Ice King, Tree Trunks, along with Finn and Jake.
The shorts are narrated by the time traveler Cuber, who is voiced by high pitched comedian Emo Phillips.
Regular Show – "Guy's Night"
I like this show too much. Opening with a montage straight out of the best of 1980s with Eddie Murphy's "Party All the Time" playing in the background, the males on Regular Show celebrate their monthly Guy's Night.
Pops is left out of the festivities, and desperately wants to join in.
SpongeBob SquarePants – "It's a Spongebob Christmas!"
Whether or not you care about SpongeBob SquarePants, the idea of a modern stop-motion animated Christmas special is pretty nice.
This special airs this week and through the holidays, and features Plankton trying to put everyone on the naughty list using a jerktonium-laced fruitcake.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic – "One Bad Apple"
Apple Bloom's Manhattan-based cousin, Babs Seed, arrives in this episode, and she doesn't want to be a Cutie Mark Crusader. Oh no, she doesn't.
Who's bad? Babs Seed.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – "Panic in the Sewers"
The onslaught on the Ninja Turtles' underground abode will not stop! This week, the Turtles face off against Dogpound, an enemy armed with chemical weapons looking to use them in the sewers.
April O'Neill gets in one the action in this clip, doing some espionage work for the Turtles.
