This week in the world of cartoons, Adventure Time takes a break from reality, the very cool droid-centric arc on Clone Wars continues with a Mœbius-twist, and we see who makes up the "A" Team and "B" Team on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
As always - minor spoilers ahead!
Star Wars: The Clone Wars – "A Sunny Day in the Void"
R2-D2 and the droid squad crash land on a cold, empty planet.
This beautiful episode is inspired by French comic book artist Mœbius, who passed away earlier in 2012.
Adventure Time – "All the Little People"
Finn and Jake kick off this episode by talking about dating styles, deciding it's all about the pumps and bumps in your heart.
While Finn and Jake converse on matters of the heart, Magic Man drops a sack containing alternate reality, miniature versions of Jake, BMO, Princess Bubblegum, and LSP.
Regular Show – "The Christmas Special"
Only the Regular Show could pull off Santa in a gun battle. Check out this clip for all the Santa Bond action.
Dragons: Riders of Berk – "When Lightning Strikes"
Thor is angry, leading Hiccup and friends to find away to please him. One way to keep Thor happy is to keep the Thor in Thursday. Just saying.
The group mulls over some ways they could make the Norse god of lightning and storms happy, and they decide to make a statue in Thor's honor.
Tron: Uprising – "Grounded"
A fan favorite show that airs rather sporadically, Tron: Uprising reared its head this week, airing on late Sunday night (around midnight is most areas).
Beck's in trouble at work, but The Renegade is scheduled to tussle with Tesler at Argon Square — which will he choose?
Marvel Mash-Up – "Miami Hulk"
With the lack of superhero cartoons on right now, we've gotta find something to fill your radioactive spandex needs.
I honestly cannot tell if this clip is funny or not. I did learn that Rick Jones ate the last s'more.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – "Mousers Attack!"
The Turtles are fighting a war on two fronts — the Purple Dragons on one side and Baxter Stockman's Mousers on the other — leading the group to split into an "A" team and a "B" team. "
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic – "Sleepless in Ponyville"
It's a Scootaloo episode! Scoots is having some pretty epic nightmares and is looking to get rid of them by watching Meg Ryan movies. That last part is not true.
No clip is available at the time of this post, so enjoy this compilation of Scootaloo's attempts to fly.
