I really like it as a song - I could do without the chanting in places, but apart from that it's really nice - but I'm not sure I really like it as a credits song... for the probably very weird/dumb reason that it doesn't sound like it's of Middle Earth. Read more

It's like Tony watched the Rocketeer one night, had a nasty whack on the head, woke up and made the Cybermen rather than Iron Man. I love it! Read more

I really like the new Cybermen. When you put them side by side with the current design (which I'm also a fan of, which seems to be in the minority for Who fans), it's kind of amazing how different they are, actually - the new designs make the Cybusmen just look so bulky and unwieldy and robotic.

On Waypoint's H4 stat screen, just right click over your spartan and open the image in the new tab. Kinja wouldn't load it from the url, so I had to save it then reupload from my computer. Read more

The weirdest thing about this? Even though they all starred in the Uncharted games with Emily Rose... this was probably the first time they actually worked together, since voice over artists usually record their parts individually. Read more

Actually, Oswin wears red (they might even have some sort of dark red/plaid patterning on, I can't quite tell) Converse-style hi-tops - the only decent look of them you get is closer to the end of AoTD. Might be easier to get a pair of these, or any knock-off shoes of a similar style, plus bonus points for accuracy!

Not happening whilst he's working on Wizards vs Aliens - in fact, he confirmed as much on The Graham Norton Show yesterday: http://www.doctorwhonews.net/2012/10/russell-t-davies-torchwood-281012084508.html Read more

RTD is quite the cartoonist, actually. He often sketched lots of his Who ideas down - there's a few scans of some of his doodles in The Writers Tale, a book of email correspondences between him and Ben Cook, a DWM reporter, that covered his writing process over Series 4 (and an extended version went on to cover the

It's lovely! Brings something different to a set report, and feels oddly appropriate for The Hobbit in a whimsical way. Read more

Lauren, I never want you to go on a movie set with a camera again. All sketch reports, all the time! Read more

It depends on your ability to tolerate or enjoy camp or cheesiness - although the Craig films eschew that angle in a pretty big way, at its core as a Franchise across the 20 films before those, James Bond is rather campy. It's partly down to the films being a product of their time - especially the Connery and Moore Read more

I stand by your choice of Bond, but my favourite is definitely The Spy Who Loved Me. Carly Simon, Barbara Bach, the sheer camp-ridiculousness/awesomness of an underwater Lotus, that whole bit of them chasing each other through the Pyramids for no real reason... Read more

I play Axton, and I don't think he talks nearly enough, which is a shame - I quite like the sweet tone in his voice when he tosses out the turret and shouts 'Go get 'em, Honey!'. My co-op friend plays Zer0, and I really like some of his haikus when he goes into Deception mode -'And I disappear; / A ghost amidst the Read more

I feel similar about it. Sure, I could be missing out on some great DLC - Leviathan reviewed pretty well, and the concept of more Aria and Omega is very tempting - but I get where MisterCheif is coming from, in a way. Not in a 'I can't play this DLC because it's not true to the timeline, Shepard's meant to be dead Read more

I definitely don't want to see more Shepard after ME3. I've not even bought Leviathan, and I don't really plan on getting Omega or any of the singleplayer DLC... personally, it feels weird, especially after the Extended Cut was such a cathartic release for me, to go back to that story and that character. I don't mean Read more

No idea! I really hope they say *something* about her character before Christmas. I really want to know - just her name or something, anything! Read more

Yeah, it looks like he has a new frock coat, and sometimes wears a waistcoat. A lot of people thought it might be a one off episode thing, but Matt's been seen wearing it filming multiple episodes, so this seems to be the 'new' Eleventh Doctor getup.

There was a recent annoucement from Character Options, who own the master license for Doctor Who toys and Merchandise, that - in line with the 50th anniversary, the 2013 series's release, and ultimately dwindling sales in the 5" scale and action figures in general - their NuWho action figures will be scaling down from Read more

Okay, I thought I couldn't really get excited for Doctor Who 7b as it's 7 months away (apparently)... but damn. Matt's new outfit, Jenna - with a Fez, huzzah! - roaring out the TARDIS and around London on an awesome looking bike... just please, give it to me now, I want it!! Read more
