Tell me everything you can about the new Console room redesign. Is it good? Evocative of classic console rooms perhaps for the 50th anniversary year. Spill the beans, Meredith! Read more

Well Snipers was trucking along pretty dandy too, great map selection, healthy playlist figures... still only up for a week before they took it down. And the update actually says that Swat is only guaranteed another week at the moment, due to its popularity, not necessarily that it will always stay. Read more

Will the map pack be re-adding Team Snipers in? *angriest of angry faces* Read more

Yeah, the 6" stuff is top notch work. If they put out more, I'm tempted to start picking up the Thorin and his company to go with Gandalf and Bilbo... but that'll be a lot of Dwarves 0_0 might just stick to the Lego versions instead! Read more

I don't really know if or how I class myself as a Toy collector. I have a lot of action figures displayed around my room - 11 Doctors (and their mini-figure representations from the faux-Lego Doctor Who range) on one set of drawers, an array of Halo figures surrounding the statue from the Halo: Reach collector's Read more

I skip most of Sam and Frodo too, The only bit I ever actually watch with them is in ROTK, when Frodo gets super paranoid about Sam wanting the ring, and we got the so-amazing-it's-ridiculous slow motion tight close up on Sean Astin's mouth as he says 'Share the load!' in his west country hobbit accent. It has me in Read more

If this was any other film I think it'd be way too much, but I think part of the madness that the've delved into for The Hobbit is just that they're immensely proud of how the country is to represented by Jackson and by those films - from the beautiful vistas filling each movie, to the good chunk of the crew used Read more

Benedict Cumberbatch, a.k.a The Man with the most English name ever, a.k.a That bloke with the cheekbones who plays Sherlock in the Moffat-BBC series. Read more

Yeah, but the eShop price isn't going to be any different, is it? Read more

Ah, is its sudden appearance in this bundle why I can't find a copy of Super Mario 3D land at a decent price anywhere? It's been out for almost a year to the day now, and it's still £30 at most places, or out of stock, but you can pre-order this instead! Read more

I mean her Character name, which they might as well have confirmed yonks ago when everyone sat around filming watching people call her Clara. But still, nice that it's validated! Read more

And here's the trailer! Clara confirmed! Richard E Grant! Scary Snowmen! SQUEEEE!

This could just happen to take place before AGMGTW - maybe Strax worked with Vastra before asking The Doctor to ship him to the Sontaran front lines? Even with their minor interactions in AGMGTW it seemed like they were familiar with each other. Read more

I thought Lasky was kind of a dick, even by the end of Forward Unto Dawn, but over the course of playing Halo 4 I gradually went from 'Hey, it's FUD guy! Hi Lasky!' to 'Yeah, Lasky!!' to 'EFF YEAH, CAP'N LASKY!!!' in the last mission. Read more

The missions are alright - it's basically co-op campaign, but I'm looking forward to them adding theater mode for it just so I can get some decent shots of my Spartan without the Red Team/Blue Team colouring - but yeah, I'm actually really excited at seeing 4-5 minutes of that exquisite CGI work every week. Yeah, Qarth was not particularly well handled in Season 2, but I think there were just some bits where she pushed the anger to a point where it just didn't work. The Gates of Qarth speech she gave made her look bratty and almost impotent, and when she talks to the Spice King in Episode 6 and gives that fabulous line 'I Read more

I really hope Emilia Clarke reigns it in a bit this season when it comes to the melodrama. Dany has some fantastic material in Storm of Swords, I can't wait to see her sink her teeth into it, but I could do without the 'WHERE ARE MAI DRAGONZZZ'-style outbursts. Read more

Wait... are we talking about the same piece? I'm not talking about the video embedded, I'm talking about the music at the link to Rolling Stone. This music. The actual version Thorin and the dwarves thing, I completely agree with what you're saying about that version, but I'm talking about Neil Finn's cover.

Follow the link to rolling stone. The embedded video is just the song section of the first Trailer, not the actual Finn version. Read more
