Gravity Falls takes on National Treasure and a Ghostbusters parody on Ultimate Spider-Man!

This week in the world of cartoons, Gravity Falls takes a shot at Nick Cage's National Treasure franchise, Adventure Time gets really trippy, and we receive what might be the best episode of Ultimate Spider-Man episode yet.

For your retro-cartoon enjoyment, we also have a rather interesting episode of She-Ra: Princess of Power featuring Hordak, Skeletor, and pies.

As always, minor spoilers ahead!

Ultimate Spider-Man – "Out of Damage Control"

Ultimate Spider-Man Ep. 18

Damage Control shows up this week! Those wonderful independent contractors that clean up after super-human battles are dispatched by Nick Fury to help Spider-Man, Nova, and crew to fix things after a fight.

This clip is epic - it features a Ghostbuster-style commercial for Damage Control complete with Team Spidey in uniform.

Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes – "Ultron Unlimited"

Avengers - Earth's Mightiest Heroes - 217 - Ultron Unlimited

Ultron created a synthetic version of the Avengers and unleashes them on the meat Avengers.

Jacosta (a robotic member of the Avengers in the Marvel Comics Universe) makes an appearance in this episode, a robot created by Ultron to be the perfect mate.

Gravity Falls – "Irrational Treasure"

Gravity Falls - Irrational Treasure

Is Gravity Falls founded on a lie? This episode sends Dipper and Mabel on an adventure to find the truth about Nathaniel Northwest against the backdrop of Gravity Falls' Pioneer Days celebration.

Mabel also gets a female foil in this episode in the form of Pacifica Northwest, a super spoiled local girl. Pacifica is not a fan of Mabel's ever stylish (and useful) nacho earrings. Watch this show.

Adventure Time – "King Worm"

Adventure Time - 4x18 - King Worm

King Worm has defeated Finn and Jake, but in a bizarre way. He's trapped Finn and Jake in their own minds, making for some really trippy scenes. One of the best shown in this clip.

King Worm is voiced by aging star/70s bike cop Erik Estrada. I'm getting a David Lynch vibe from this episode.

Regular Show – "Death Bear"

Regular Show Death Bear

Mordecai wants to have a peaceful movie night, but Rigby keeps talking about "Death Bear" — a local bear who killed his trainer and is now wandering the town.

The group breaks up movie night to visit the old abandoned zoo and Death Bear's former cage.

She-Ra: Princess of Power – "My Friend, My Enemy"

SheRa_ My Friend_My Enemy

In this blast from the past, we found out that Hordak really likes pie. That's enough to place the She-Ra villain ahead of Skeletor in my book. Come to think of it, I think my parents bought me more She-Ra toys than He-Man toys as a child. I might be inadvertently announcing a childhood crush on She-Ra to the entire internet...is that like being a proto-Brony?

This episode is a strange one — Hordak is put under a magical spell emanating from a pie poisoned by Skeletor, with She-Ra coming to the aid of her foe.
