This week in the world of cartoons, Green Goblin makes his debut in the two-part season finale of Ultimate Spider-Man, flying dragons join the Onderon rebels on Star Wars: Clone Wars, and Starscream continues to wreak havoc as this season of Tranformers: Prime winds down.
Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is off this week to make room for the Ultimate Spider-Man double-header. Gravity Falls returns next week, while DC Nation continues it's unusually timed hiatus. As always - minor spoilers ahead!
Ultimate Spider-Man ā "Revealed & Rise of the Green Goblin"
The first season of Ultimate Spider-Man comes to an end in this double header, as Doctor Octopus and Norman Osborn join forces to create the Green Goblin!
Spider-Man faces off against the Matrix-esque minions of Doc Ock in this clip.
The second part of this double header (and season finale) features a team-up between Venom and Green Goblin as well as some family drama.
This clip shows off the new Green Goblin as the Spider Team attempts to shut him down.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars ā "Tipping Points"
In this episode, Ahsoka pleads with Obi-Wan Kenobi to send Jedi reinforcements to aid her and the people and Onderon, but he refuses.
Check out this clip to see Ben Kenobi hiding behind Republic politics while Anakin's ingenuity leads to a plan to save the Onderon rebels.
Meanwhile, the people of Onderon continue their rebellion against their Separatist king, using reptilian horses and dragons to fight off a battle droid assault in this clip.
This episode also features a nice nod to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - lemme know when you see it.
Regular Show ā "Pie Contest"
Who wants to judge a pie contest? Modecai and Rigby do. As the park gets ready for the annual pie eating contest, Mordecai and Rigby beg to judge instead of their appointed job of picking up trash.
An awesome montage ensues featuring an odd brown mixture being drizzled on a pie via a ladle, which you can see in this clip. Thank you for your perseverance Mord & Rigs.
Tron: Uprising ā "Scars, Part 1"
In this long awaited two-parter, Beck attempts to talk Tron out of getting revenge against a fellow program, Dyson.
Will Beck be able to stop an ultra-focused Tron?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ā "Metalhead"
This episode features the newest incarnation of Donatello's mechanized turtle, Metalhead.
Donatello created the turtle-bot in lieu of fighting Kraang himself. This is not the Donatello I grew up with.
Transformers: Prime ā "Regeneration"
In the next to last episode of the season, the Autobots and Decepticons battle for the Omega Lock on their home world of Cybertron.
Internal strife is present within the Decepticons (as always), as Starscream faces off against his heir apparent Dreadwing in this clip.
Adventure Time- "The Lich"
The Lich is back! Lou Ferrigno voices Billy, who aides Finn and Jake in a quest for the Lich (voiced by Ron Perlman).
This clip is all the right kinds of bizarre, with Billy popping up at the end. Adventure Time is off for a couple of weeks, with Season 5 beginning November 12th.
