This Cheap Unlocked iPhone is Your $150-and-No-Contract Deal of the Day

You know what an iPhone is. Hell, you might be reading this post on one right now. So you might be asking why you need one that came out in 2009, even if it's a damn steal at $149. Here's why: if you've got a phone on a contract, and you go overseas, you'll most likely be stuck paying exorbitant roaming fees. With this unlocked 8GB 3GS, you plug a cheap SIM card in there, and you'll have full burner capabilities attached to a very capable pocket computer. And at $150 for a refurb, it won't be a catastrophe if you get caught in the rain, or you drop it spelunking, or you get pickpocketed in a sketchy alleyway. It's a great deal for adventurers, and also a great backup phone for those of us prone to catastrophe at home. [Daily Steals]

If you've already got a phone (like everyone) you probably need a nice pair of earbuds. These are Klipsch X10 Images, which are well-regarded in-ear earphones that actually look pretty great. The list price is $350 and they usually hover around $170, but today from Amazon they're $90. In fact, the version with a remote is still $187. Pretty excellent deal on a nice pair of earphones.
